About Laxman Jhula Destination: Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge which cross on the Ganga River in Rishikesh town of the Uttarakhand state. It was built in 1929 during British ruled period but now is closed to general public because it is now so old. Lot of people come to visit it when they come to Rishikesh pilgrimage. Government announced that it will build a new bridge near of the old bridge.
